Open in winter and spring, overnight RV sites are available in Parking Lot 5 (P5), beside the East Village Centre and at the base of the Morrisey Express and Orient chairlifts.
Sites should be reserved online in advance to guarantee access. If you are unable to select a date in the online store there are no sites available for that date.

Sun Peaks Alpine Fitness is open to the public year round, offering drop-in shower facilities.

Please note Alpine Fitness is an independently operated public facility in the village, approximately a 12 to 15 minute walk from Parking Lot 5 (P5). Shower facilities are not included with Sun Peaks Resort camping reservations.
Located in Parking Lot 2 (P2), just a short walk from the village and lifts, Sun Peaks offers 45 RV and camping sites. Open in spring and summer, the sites provide a convenient base for guests looking to stay close to the resort’s amenities and outdoor activities.

Lakeside Heffley Hideaway offers lakefront cabins and partially-serviced campsites at Heffley Lake, just 15km from Sun Peaks. Campsites can accommodate everything from tents to large RVs with power and water service (no septic hookups or sani-dump on site, please come empty). Central washroom facilities have flush toilets, running water and hot coin-operated showers. Open May long weekend until Thanksgiving weekend.
If the campground at Sun Peaks is full, there are also BC Recreation Site campgrounds located at McGillivray Lake (10 minutes east of Sun Peaks Resort), Heffley Lake (10 minutes west of Sun Peaks Resort), and Knouff Lake (30 minutes west of Sun Peaks Resort).
While in resort or on the mountain you may encounter a black bear during your stay. If you do see a bear always keep your distance, many wildlife professionals recommend remaining a minimum of 100 metres away.
You can help by reporting black bear sightings in and around Sun Peaks. Your reports help track bear activity and guide efforts to protect both bears and people.
