Sun Peaks is a village located in the Interior of British Columbia. Located just 45 minutes northeast of Kamloops, it is the second-largest ski area in Canada and a year-round destination for guests in search of a welcoming, accessible, stress-free mountain experience. There are various ways to get to Sun Peaks whether you're driving, flying, travelling by train, bus, or shuttle.
Canada's Second Largest Ski Area
Spanning 4,400 acres of skiable terrain across three peaks, Tod Mountain, Sundance Mountain and Mount Morrisey, Sun Peaks offers a winter playground with endless possibilities.
An Easy Commute
Driving in ski boots isn’t ideal. Skip the morning traffic and enjoy the convenience of a ski-through village. With plenty of ski-in, ski-out accommodation, you can step outside, click into your skis and glide down the main street to the lifts in seconds.
Not Too Cold. Not Too Hot. Just Right.
With average winter temperatures hovering between -5ºC to -10ºC (23ºF to 14ºF) combined with the dry Interior BC climate, Sun Peaks delivers light powder, smooth groomers and consistent conditions all season long.
Less Waiting. More Vertical.
Known for its vast terrain and minimal crowds, Sun Peaks spreads skiers and snowboarders across three mountains. Lift lines are measured in seconds, not minutes, and it’s not uncommon to enjoy a run all to yourself.
Thanks to Ikon and Mountain Collective access, it’s easier than ever to ski or ride a new destination.
