Synopsis

A weak front draped across central BC will bring mainly cloudy but dry conditions to the resort today and tonight. A light westerly flow aloft, and a developing high-pressure system should result in variable cloudiness, continued dry weather and light winds on Saturday. Temperatures will be trending milder, with freezing levels rising to near mountain-top level and village highs rising to near 10°C. Winds will be light W to SW.

Extended Outlook

Sunday to Tuesday: An upper ridge of high pressure over the western US is forecast to build northward into southern BC on Sunday, bringing a mix of sun and clouds, and dry, very mild conditions for Sunday and Monday. A cold front dropping south across southern BC will likely bring some mixed precipitation to the area Monday night, followed by flurries and much cooler temperatures on Tuesday.
