An Introduction to the core skills of mountain biking

This four-hour private lesson will equip you with the essential skills to feel confident on a mountain bike. This lesson is great for beginner riders ages 10 and up. You'll learn body positioning, stance, and bike control while exploring the trails in the Progression Park.

Ride together by inviting friends or family of similar ability to join your lesson. Share the cost, learn together, and get the most out of your time (maximum of three people). Enhance your experience with a bike rental and Progression Park lift ticket add-ons for a great value package.

Notes

The additional person rate allows you to add another participant to the same lesson, perfect for friends or family of a similar ability.

The day includes a one hour lunch break. Please bring your own lunch, as it is not provided.

Listed rates apply to lessons only. Equipment rentals and lift tickets are not included, but may be purchased as add-ons at the time of booking. A $6.00 damage waiver is included in listed rental prices. Lift ticket rates exclude a $5.00 Mountain Card fee. All rates are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable taxes. Lessons are non-transferable.

Importance of advance reservations

Although we do take drop-ins for lessons, we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure availability. Making advance reservations during holiday periods is a must to guarantee you get the lesson you want.

Booking and payment policies

  • All lessons must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • A $15.00 administration fee applies to cancellations within one week of your reserved lesson. It also applies to any schedule changes within 24 hours of start time.
  • For cancellations within 24 hours of your reserved lesson time, no refunds will be issued.
  • No refunds will be issued for missed lessons.
  • All rates are in Canadian dollars.
  • Applicable taxes will be added to all prices.
  • Dates, times, and prices may be subject to change without notice.
