The Sunburst Bar + Eatery is temporarily closed for upgrades and is anticipated to reopen on June 26, 2026. The reopening date is tentative and subject to change.

During this time, the lodge and its washrooms will not be open to the public. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Guests are encouraged to plan accordingly and make use of alternative food, beverage and washroom facilities available throughout the resort.

Located at mid-mountain at the top of the Sunburst Express chairlift, the Sunburst Bar + Eatery is a cozy alpine stop offering a welcoming break between laps. With scenic views of the Headwalls ski run and the valley below, it is the perfect place to unwind and refuel before your next run.

Enjoy fresh, casual fare from a menu designed for all appetites, from quick grab-and-go snacks to hearty sit-down lunches. The bar offers a selection of coffees, cocktails, and cold beer, making it a comfortable and convenient spot to relax during your mountain day.

No visit is complete without trying one of Sun Peaks’ famous cinnamon buns, baked fresh daily and loved by locals and visitors alike.
