Halloween for Hunger: Sun Peaks Community Food Drive

Goblins, ghouls, and good initiatives! Halloween for Hunger is a community initiative that aims to raise awareness, food, and funds for those in need, in partnership with Kamloops Food Bank.

Trick or treat — Let's donate some food to eat!

During the month of October, you can make a difference by donating your unopened, non-perishable items at any of the convenient drop-off locations throughout Sun Peaks.

Last year, we collected more than 900 lbs of non-perishables. That’s about $3,200 worth of food, helping families in need!

These donations help support:

  • 7,000 Individuals
  • 52 community agencies
  • 9 regional food banks in and around our area
