Discover the art of silversmithing in this hands-on introductory class focused on creating beautiful, wearable stacking rings. Guided step-by-step, by Charlene Hall, a jewellery designer and silversmith based on Pender Island, you’ll design and craft three sterling silver stacking rings to take home — each one uniquely your own.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll be introduced to essential silversmithing techniques, including design fundamentals, soldering, shaping, texturing, patina, and polishing. Whether you prefer clean and simple styles or more textured, expressive designs, this class encourages creativity and experimentation.
No prior experience is necessary — this class is designed for beginners and those curious about working with metal for the first time. Come learn a new skill, work with your hands, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something meaningful from start to finish in a supportive, creative environment.
