Paragliding Display

Keep your eyes on the skies and enjoy the show! Weather permitting, local paragliders will be taking off from various approved launch zones on Sun Peaks’ mountains as part of a private, closed event and will be easily visible throughout the resort. Designed landing zones in the valley have been provided. This is not a public activity/event. 

Sun Peaks has been a long-standing host of free flyers and has held numerous competitions over the years.

Since 2000, paragliding has taken the place of hang-gliding as the fastest growing form of flying worldwide. These once strange wings are a common site year-round in the skies at European resorts.
