Sun Peaks Selection

The Truth Skate & Snow and Sun Peaks Resort are excited to present Sun Peaks Selection: A Socially Distanced Snowboard Media Event from March 3 to 15. This virtual rail jam will be at your leisure, so grab your gear, find a filmer, and hit the terrain park to show us your best techniques, style, and documentation skills. 

Details

The contest will consist of five features: Blue Line, Spine (Hip), 3 Pack, Jaws, and Rail Garden. Each of these features will have its own sponsorships, increasing the chances to upgrade your snowboard gear. The riders have the choice to document all five features or focus on the ones they specialize in. The judges are looking for cleanliness and style of trick, as well as documentation by filmer. In the men's category, our judges will be looking at each feature, and for the women's, they will be looking at overall features. Sun Peaks Selection is open to all ages. The winners take all for the rider and filmer.

Happy with your video? Post it to Instagram so our legendary panel of judges can witness you in action. To enter riders must follow and tag all three accounts, include the two hashtags, as well as the appropriate zone hashtag(s) for each video submission.

Rules & Regulations

Participants must have either a season or alpine day lift pass and able to ride the intermediate terrain park with confidence. Helmets are mandatory submissions will not be reviewed if the participant is not wearing a helmet, so don't forget your lid.
