Sunday, February 17, 2019 marks one year since Ryan Shtuka was reported missing from Sun Peaks.
Since his disappearance, Sun Peaks Resort, members of the local community, and various agencies have been assisting the Shtuka family and the RCMP with ongoing search efforts.
The Shtuka family will be in Sun Peaks for the weekend of February 15 - 17 and have planned several activities to honor Ryan. More information about these events can be found here.
A Run for Ryan - February 16
This Saturday, February 16, the resort is hosting ‘A Run for Ryan’. This is an opportunity for the Sun Peaks community to gather and show their support for the Shtuka family. For more information and to participate, click here.

Ryan Shtuka has been missing from Sun Peaks Resort since the early morning hours of Saturday February 17, 2018. He was last seen leaving a residence on Burfield Drive sometime around 2:00am to walk a short distance home. He did not show up for work later that day and has not been active on social media or cellular networks since then.
Ryan is 20 years old and 6 feet tall with a lean build. He has blond hair, brown eyes, and weighs approximately 180lbs. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, a light grey shirt, blue coat, and a burgundy ball cap.

The resort remains engaged in the process wherever we can and we will continue to support the family and friends of Ryan as efforts progress. Our thoughts are with everyone involved.
