5K Foam Fest - Saturday, June 10
Tackle over 22 obstacles including the world's largest inflatable waterslide, mud pits and 2.5 million cubic feet of foam—open to participants aged 7 years and older. Rock out all day to awesome music, taste delicious food, shop from local vendors and celebrate your success in a well-stocked beer garden. An exciting challenge for experienced and beginner runners alike—this course should be enjoyed at your own pace and all obstacles are optional.
Opening Day for Summer Lift Operations - Friday, June 16
Take your first laps of the season in the Sun Peaks Bike Park, or catch a lift up to easily accessible alpine sightseeing or your favourite hiking trails.

Sun Peaks Market Days - Sundays from June 18 to October 8
This is a perfect opportunity to bring local, sustainable food to your family's dinner table. Stroll through the village and browse products from local farmers, ranchers, and artisans. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own reusable shopping bags to the market, and you can expect to find regional fruit, vegetables, meats, seafood, arts, crafts, beauty products and more.

Canada Day Celebrations - July 1
Celebrate Canada Day in Sun Peaks with free family-friendly activities happening all day long, and culminating with an outdoor concert by Maritime Kitchen Party. Join in the kids bike parade, play some mini golf, tackle a scavenger hunt, and enjoy family entertainment with clowns, face-painting and much more.
First Fridays Live Music - July 7, August 4, & September 1
Enjoy free outdoor live music and entertainment in Sun Peaks on the first Friday of the month – July through September! You’ll also find artisan markets, and patio specials at restaurants and cafes throughout the village.
Retro Concert Weekend - August 25 to 27
Can’t get enough of your favourite retro bands? Visit Sun Peaks August 25 to 27 for the 12th annual retro concert weekend, featuring free live tribute bands performing outdoors throughout the village. Enjoy restaurant and café patios just steps from the concerts, or check out the beer garden. Don’t forget your lawn chairs for this one!
Bike Park Races & Events Throughout August & September
Canada Cup DH Race - August 18 to 20
Whether you’re racing, cheering on family and friends, or taking a break from your own laps to see how downhill racers tackle your favourite trail features (hint – they probably send it straight over that rock garden you’ve been working through), this event is sure to entertain your crew.
Peaks Pedal Fest - September 2 to 4
A celebration of all things biking over Labour Day long weekend—think bike demos, poker rides, fun under the sun and tons of cycling-centric events to get everyone involved! Take in the First Friday music and entertainment while you are here to complete your weekend.
Canadian Enduro League Race & Bike Park Closing Weekend - September 23 to 24
The final stop in western Canada for the Canadian Enduro League for 2023 is hosted in Sun Peaks during the final weekend of summer lift operations for the Bike Park and lift-accessed hiking trails. Register today to see how you stack up against the rest of your category, or come hang out for the celebrations and send off summer in the bike park in style.
