Enjoy outdoor live music with BC-based band Maritime Kitchen Party featuring Shamma Sabir.
Maritime Kitchen Party (MKP) is named after a well-known tradition in Nova Scotia. We all know it: Maritimers love to party; and inevitably, the party ends up in the kitchen! There's always someone with a guitar, and someone belting traditional songs at the top of their lungs. MKP brings that energy to their live performances with foot-stomping music heavily influenced by Canadians such as Great Big Sea, Stompin' Tom, Blue Rodeo and more. Throw in some MKP originals, rock, country and more and the party is "Rarin' to go!"

Village stage Details
The Village Stage is an open air music venue in the heart of Sun Peaks village, located on the Upper Village Walk.

Where to Park
- Available on surface lots P2 at the lift area, and P5 at the top of the village, where available.
- Street parking on Village Place, parking allowed on even side of road.
- Accessible parking available in Village Day Lodge lot, with permit.
- Please respect the Sun Peaks Municipality no parking areas.

Seating and guidelines
- Seating not provided, feel free to bring your own lawn chair.
- No Alcohol Permitted. Smoking is designated area only.
- Maximum Capacity is 500 people.
- Entertainment subject to change.
- Public washrooms are located in the Village Day Lodge.
