Sun Peaks, BC, December 19, 2025 – Sun Peaks Resort is proud to announce the 2025-26 Winter Ambassador Team, featuring ten dedicated and talented individuals from Sun Peaks, Kamloops, and surrounding areas. This diverse group, spanning generations and disciplines, will represent the resort by sharing their authentic passion for the mountain with audiences worldwide.
Now in its third year, the Ambassador Team program supports local talent, celebrates their achievements, and highlights the vibrant, inclusive community that makes Sun Peaks special. The team is divided into two streams – Athletes, who receive enhanced support for competitive pursuits, and Ambassadors, who focus on content creation and hosting special guests.
All team members benefit from a complimentary season pass, branded swag, and prominent exposure through the resort’s marketing channels and content production. Athletes receive an additional cash sponsorship and a membership to Sun Peaks Alpine Fitness to fuel their training and competitions. In exchange, Ambassadors commit to participating in resort-led photoshoots, video projects, and on-mountain hosting for media and special guests.

The resort’s commitment to athletic excellence reaches a new milestone this year with an additional sponsorship of local standout Euan Currie. This contribution is made through the Alpine Canada sponsorship program to support Euan as a new member of the National Ski Cross NextGen Team. The 21-year-old is a true homegrown success story who will represent Sun Peaks this winter on the Europa Cup and World Cup circuits. As he chases his goal of the 2030 Olympics, Euan carries the pride of his home mountain with him. Keep an eye out for the Sun Peaks logo on his helmet during this winter's races.
Further enriching the mountain experience, Sun Peaks Resort is celebrating its legendary roots through the new, exclusive ‘Ski with Olympic Champion Nancy Greene’ offering this winter. Guests can now book a private half-day tour with Canada’s Female Athlete of the Century for a truly unique experience that blends world-class skiing tips with personal insight into the sport and resort history. Offered from December 20 to March 31 (subject to availability), all proceeds from this premium offering will directly support the Sun Peaks Education Society in its goal to build a future high school for the community. “I’ve loved doing complimentary ski tours over the past 30 years,” says Nancy Greene Raine. “Last year, due to exposure on social media, the tours got bigger and bigger until they became too large to manage comfortably. This new format is a good way for me to continue doing what I love – skiing with guests – while raising money for a cause close to my heart – our local education society. I am also looking forward to mentoring young instructors in the Sport School. It feels very good to stay connected with our guests in the community that I’ve called home since the mid 1990’s.”
Sun Peaks Resort looks forward to an exciting season collaborating with the team on content that captures the joy of winter on the slopes. While the winter team is currently in focus, the Ambassador program also runs during the summer season with a focus on mountain biking.
