Top of the World
Elevation: 2,080m
There’s no better way to celebrate Jake Burton Carpenter than by joining a global day of snowboarding. If you can’t make it to the mountains, get outside however you can — hike, surf, skate or wax your board.
However you ride, ride for Jake.
#RideOnJake
Jake Burton Carpenter founded Burton Snowboards in a Vermont barn in 1977 and spent the rest of his life growing the sport of snowboarding.
His passion helped shape the sport and the community that surrounds it. Through snowboarding, generations of riders have shared unforgettable experiences on the mountain.
Jake’s vision, perseverance and generosity helped bring snowboarding to the world. Along the way, he built a global community that continues to carry the sport forward. Most winters, he still logged more than 100 days on snow.
