Get ready for a summer of imagination, movement, and fun at the ArtZone Summer Camps! Each day at camp is thoughtfully designed to ignite creativity and keep kids engaged, active, and smiling from start to finish.

What to Expect:
Every day, campers will dive into a new artistic medium or theme. Through a mix of guided art workshops and open studio sessions, kids will explore painting, sculpture, collage, and more—encouraged to express themselves freely and let their creativity shine. ArtZone’s mission is to bring art into the heart of the community and provide meaningful, accessible opportunities for children to engage with the arts in inspiring ways.

But it’s not all paint and pastels—each day also includes outdoor adventures and high-energy fun! Campers will enjoy activities like biking, organized group games, dance, yoga and more, all designed to keep them active, social, and connected with nature.

Our balanced approach ensures that kids not only explore new art forms, but also develop friendships, confidence, and a lifelong love for both the arts and the outdoors.

Stretch, Create & Discover

Move, create, and connect in a week of mindful fun and artistic exploration!

Campers can look forward to a joyful and balanced week of movement and creativity as we blend yoga and art throughout each day. Mornings will begin with engaging yoga sessions led by Kayla Alfred of Sun Peaks Yoga. With her warm and welcoming approach, Kayla introduces kids to movement, breathwork, and mindfulness in a way that’s playful, age-appropriate, and grounded in fun. Her sessions offer the perfect way to start the day feeling energized, calm, and connected.

After yoga, campers will explore a series of creative art projects guided by local artist Kristin Passmore. Each day introduces a new process-based activity that invites curiosity, self-expression, and connection with nature and materials. The week includes:

  • Monday: Handmade paper crafting (to be used later for bookmaking)
  • Tuesday: Nature-inspired paintings using acrylics and mixed media
  • Wednesday: Bookmaking with watercolour paper and their handmade sheets
  • Thursday: Botanical watercolour painting inside their own handmade books
  • Friday: Cyanotype sun prints – a magical blend of art and science to wrap up the week

We’re also excited to welcome a special visit from Sun Peaks Bear Aware, who will lead an engaging presentation to help campers learn about local wildlife and how to stay safe in bear country through fun, age-appropriate activities.

With plenty of time for outdoor play, group games, and mindful moments, this week offers a calming, creative, and joy-filled summer experience.

Camp runs 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The total price for the 5-day week is $325 + GST, and a sibling discount is available at 10% off.
