This Thanksgiving weekend is all about giving back and celebrating community in the mountains! On Saturday, October 11, volunteers can join a morning of trail building and restoration in support of the SPRTA.
Volunteers will be fuelled by coffee, snacks, and a provided light lunch. After a morning of hard work, participants can also join an afternoon guided hike or bike ride. Volunteers will also receive a complimentary two-night stay on Friday and Saturday and a gift card to Morrisey’s for a Thanksgiving-themed meal! Join us for this rewarding outdoor experience and amazing opportunity to connect with the Sun Peaks community.

On both Saturday and Sunday, Sun Peaks Centre will be open for family fun from 5:00 to 9:00 pm with yard-style games for all ages, followed by a FREE cozy movie screening in the Conference Room at 7:00 pm.
Saturday’s feature is the classic Beetlejuice (1988), while Sunday brings the brand-new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024). Concession snacks will be available by donation. Come relax, laugh, and get into the spooky season together after a day out in the village!
