After a full day of exploring our three mountains and 137 ski runs you’re going to be ready to head into the village for some après with your crew. From good food, to outdoor fire pits and even shotskis, there is no shortage of options to choose from in Sun Peaks. Here are five of our favourite places to get your après ski fun started.
Known as the local’s living room, Bottoms Bar & Grill is where you’ll want to head to keep the good times going. Mingle with the locals and fuel up with some food and drinks while soaking in the views from their heated outdoor patio. The lively energy in Bottoms continues late into the night, so the fun doesn’t have to stop.
Located right off of the Gentle Giant ski run, Cahilty Creek Kitchen & Taproom offers a great place to put your feet up after a long day out on the hill. With 16 draft taps featuring craft beer, BC wines and cider, as well as a special après menu, you will have plenty of options to refuel after a day on the slopes.
Unwind after a day out on the slopes at the cozy 5Forty Café & Cantina. The laid back and friendly atmosphere makes for the perfect place to grab a taco and sip on a pint. Plus, you’ll often find a local or two hanging out at the bar to give you the inside scoop on the mountain.
Nothing beats skiing to the front door of a bar, and you can do just that at Masa’s Bar + Grill. But, be warned, once you go inside you won’t want to leave! Masa’s is home to a shotski and unique drinks to add to your mountain experience.
The eye-catching outdoor patio at Morrisey’s Public House is an enticement to sit down for a hot drink. Cozy up around the firepits with a blanket for your après ski fun. If you prefer, you can sit inside and enjoy the fun ambiance of an Irish Style pub.
There are several more après options to choose from. Take a look.
