Goblins, ghouls, and good initiatives! Halloween for Hunger is a community initiative that aims to raise awareness, food, and funds for those in need, in partnership with Kamloops Food Bank.
During the month of October, you can make a difference by donating your unopened, non-perishable items at any of the convenient drop-off locations throughout Sun Peaks.
Last year, we collected more than 900 lbs of non-perishables. That’s about $3,200 worth of food, helping families in need!
These donations help support:
Guest Services: Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 4:00pm
Tourism Sun Peaks: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm
Burfield Admin: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm
Ohana Deli: Monday to Sunday, 10:00am to 7:00pm
Baby food, canned or dried beans, canned fruit, canned pasta, canned vegetables, baby formula, peanut butter, rice, canned soup and canned tuna.
Please note: No fresh items. All items must be unopened and non-perishable.

We are pleased to support the annual Coats for Folks donation run by the Salvation Army Kamloops. Head to Sun Peaks Guest Services to donate new and lightly-used winterwear, including; jackets, snowpants, boots, gloves, toques, and scarves.
