Summer 2026 Ambassador and Athlete Program
Love the bike park, trails, golf course and mountain lifestyle? We’re looking for folks who are passionate about outdoor recreation and mountain biking from the local area who live and breathe summer at Sun Peaks, and as equally important, get fired up at the idea of sharing their experiences and the stories of this special place with the world.
The Sun Peaks Squad brings together a team of eight athletes and creators who authentically, proudly and respectfully represent Sun Peaks Resort and the Sun Peaks Bike Park both on and off the mountain through riding, hiking, golfing, storytelling, content creation and more.
New this year, we may also select hiking, golf and/or trail running ambassadors in addition to mountain bikers, depending on the strength of applications received.
Whether you’re chasing podiums, filming laps, hosting friends or showcasing your favourite summer moments, we want to hear from you.

Ambassador Squad Streams
The Sun Peaks Squad features two program streams: athletes and ambassadors.
Athletes
You must be a competitive downhill rider, participating in sanctioned races this summer.
What you'll do:
- Represent Sun Peaks Resort/Sun Peaks Bike Park at races, events and on the mountain through logo wear and brand presence
- Participate as a model in resort photo and video shoots (a portion of these media assets will be provided to you for your own portfolio and can be shared publicly with credit to Sun Peaks Resort)
- Share and tag Sun Peaks Bike Park content across your social channels
You may also be asked to:
- Host VIPs and guest experiences in the Bike Park
- Participate in media interviews and promotional features about the program
- Collaborate with the Sun Peaks Marketing & Communications team on content initiatives for social and web
What you’ll receive:
- $2,500 cash sponsorship
- Complimentary 2026 Bike Park Season Pass (if you have already purchased a pass we will refund it)
- Complimentary six-month gym membership at Sun Peaks Alpine Fitness
- Season kick-off party
- Sun Peaks sticker and swag pack
To qualify:
- Must be a full-time resident of the local area (Sun Peaks, Kamloops, Heffley Creek, etc.) from June to September 2026
- Must be registered in downhill competitions during the summer season
Ambassadors
For passionate mountain bikers, golfers, hikers and trail runners who love sharing the Sun Peaks lifestyle and are content creators in their own right.
What You'll Do:
- Represent Sun Peaks Resort while mountain biking, golfing, hiking, trail running and exploring the mountain
- Create and collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team on engaging content for social and web
- Share and tag Sun Peaks moments across your social channels
- Support VIP experiences and community engagement opportunities
You may also be asked to:
- Participate in photo and video shoots
- Participate in media features and interviews
What you’ll receive:
- Complimentary 2026 Sun Peaks Summer Season Pass in the sport you represent (if you’ve already purchased a pass, we’ll refund it)
- Season kick-off party
- Sun Peaks sticker and swag pack
To qualify:
- Must be a full-time resident of the local area (Sun Peaks, Kamloops, Heffley Creek, etc.) from June to September 2026
- Must demonstrate active participation in mountain biking, hiking or golfing, as well as content creation skills

Show us how you’re active in the sport and how you enjoy connecting with others. Be creative, bring your energy and show us your enthusiasm! Please include publicly acceptable social media handles. Applications should be around 250 words.
