Sun Peaks Resort Announces Return of Spring Snow Fest – Longer Days, Louder Après  

Sun Peaks, BC, February 5, 2026 – Sun Peaks Resort is turning up the volume on spring skiing with the return of Spring Snow Fest, a high-energy three-day celebration of spring laps, freestyle action, and après culture running Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 22.

Perfectly timed for Spring Break, Spring Snow Fest 2026 delivers everything guests love about spring in the mountains: bluebird days, soft turns, patio parties, and a slopeside festival atmosphere. From the Spring Equinox kickoff on Friday to the Big Air + Knuckle Huck Grand Finale on Sunday, the weekend is designed as a fun and vibrant boost of energy for guests visiting during one of the last weekends of the season.

Three Days of Stoke: Spring Snow Fest Highlights

The festival runs across the resort with a mix of on-snow action and après events throughout the village and base area.

Friday, March 20, Spring Equinox & Festival Kickoff

Spring Snow Fest kicks off on Friday with sunny spring laps and live DJ energy at the Sunburst Lodge Patio Party at mid-mountain. The celebration continues into the afternoon with a slopeside Après Patio Party between Masa’s Bar + Grill and Bottoms Bar & Grill, before wrapping up with evening DJ sets at the Village Platter lift with extended hours until 9:00pm.

Saturday, March 21, Pop-Up Park & Party Weekend Peak

Saturday brings peak festival energy. The action kicks off with patio beats at the Sunburst Lodge and freestyle park sessions with a live DJ at the 5 Mile Pop-Up Park Party. The fun continues with an après Patio Party between Masa’s and Bottoms for an afternoon of non-stop music until 6pm.  

Sunday, March 22, Big Air + Knuckle Huck Grand Finale

Sunday closes out the weekend with one last Sunburst Lodge Patio Party before the Big Air + Knuckle Huck Invitational takes over the terrain park on Sundance Mountain as the weekend’s grand finale. After the final on snow action, guests can keep the good times rolling at the Après Patio Party between Masa’s and Bottoms, with evening DJ sets at the Village Platter lift through 9:00pm to end the festival weekend.

As the second annual Spring Snow Fest touches down in Sun Peaks this March, it’s set to become a signature near end-of-season event. Also taking place March 16-21, the Savour Culinary Festival is a multi-day celebration of food, drink, and culture. The final weekend of the 2026-27 ski season is scheduled for April 4-6, coinciding with Easter Weekend. Taking place closing weekend will be the AltiTunes Music Fest (presented by Tourism Sun Peaks) and the annual Wonder Weekend, featuring Slush Cup, Top-to-Bottoms Run, Retro Days, Snow Way Down bike slalom, and more.
