Terrain Park Safety and Etiquette

Freestyle terrain can be one of the most exciting parts of the mountain, but it’s also one of the most dynamic. Features change with weather, snow conditions and use, and may be rebuilt from time to time. Having a great day in the park means knowing your limits, respecting others and riding responsibly. Before entering any terrain park, take a moment to review the information below.

The Sun Peaks Terrain Park runs the full length of the Sundance Express chairlift and features a variety of jumps, rails, boxes and urban hits.

Pop-up parks are also located around the resort and may include a mix of jumps, rails, boxes and urban-style features. These pop-up parks will rotate through different areas of the resort and will be announced on our website when open.

In all Sun Peaks Terrain Parks, start small and work your way up, increasing difficulty gradually. Do not attempt maneuvers that are beyond your ability.

Know the risks. Visit Ski Safety for more information.
